Where payments arrive
An external view-only Monero wallet-RPC creates a new subaddress for each invoice. A public daemon alone cannot identify your private incoming payments. Wholly Crypto does not hold this wallet’s spending seed.
Back up & recover
- Back up the external spending wallet’s seed or keys separately, plus its restore height, account and subaddress information. The Wholly Crypto wallet export contains public details only for Monero.
- Restore with trusted Monero software from a height before the first payment and scan all used subaddresses. Keep the spending wallet separate from the online view-only service.
Keep secrets offline. Do not upload your backup or paste recovery words into a web tool. Verify a recovered public address first. A wallet seed does not restore your invoice database.
A practical way to manage funds
Spend from the external full wallet. After outgoing transfers, synchronize its key images into the view-only wallet using a supported external workflow; without them its displayed balance can include already-spent funds.
Monero recovery and spending are external. Neither a view-only connection nor the Wholly Crypto TXT/HTML export can restore your Monero spending authority.
Check in Wholly Crypto
Open Project → Wallets → Addresses. Search by address, invoice ID, order ID, memo/tag or index. Balances are cached, so review a fresh transfer quote before sending.
