XRP Ledger

Shared account + destination tag

Where payments arrive

Invoices share one funded XRP account. A different destination tag identifies each invoice. Always send the exact address and tag shown at checkout; a missing or wrong tag may need manual reconciliation.

Back up & recover

  1. Keep the recovery phrase, public address and derivation details. Wholly Crypto uses the secp256k1 path m/44'/144'/0'/0/0.
  2. A BIP-39 phrase, an XRP family seed and a raw private key are different formats. Use a wallet that supports the exported scheme, and confirm the recovered public address before sending. Invoice tags are not separate keys.

Keep secrets offline. Do not upload your backup or paste recovery words into a web tool. Verify a recovered public address first. A wallet seed does not restore your invoice database.

A practical way to manage funds

Receipts already arrive in one account, so per-invoice consolidation is unnecessary. Use a compatible external wallet for outgoing XRP. Preserve the network account reserve and transaction fees.

Built-in XRP sending is not available. A destination exchange may require its own tag, unrelated to the tag your customer used.

Check in Wholly Crypto

Open Project → Wallets → Addresses. Search by address, invoice ID, order ID, memo/tag or index. Balances are cached, so review a fresh transfer quote before sending.
